Fort Worth, Texas is a city where culture and heritage thrive together. Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is nestled within the Fort Worth Cultural District and houses a variety of science and history exhibitions. The Museum hosts a variety of world-class traveling exhibitions, as well. Innovation Studios- a five glass-walled studio that houses Inventor, Doodler, Designer, Imaginer and Explorer is where imagination, curiosity and creativity are encouraged and nurtured. The Museum is also home to the first Omni Theater and IMAX Dome in the Southwest which features a 120-foot screen and the Noble Planetarium, which allows you to see more than 7,000 stars.

I was born and raised in Russia. I got my PhD degree in biology in St Petersburg State University (Russia) and continued my research work in the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 1999, I moved to the United States to pursue my neuroscience research at the UT Southwestern Medical Center located in Dallas, TX. Being a scientist has been very rewarding in many aspects including creativity. However, I felt a compelling need to further express myself by taking an artistic journey.
